Forgive me....

Treasures, forgive me for not appearing on here recently. How I've missed my loyal mates. I sort of lost my way last week. I kind of floated and didn't get anywhere. Walking in Space - wasn't that a song in the musical Hair?

Been working at that wretched rugby ground shop. There's been a match virtually every weekend. And last week, 2nd May, I had a bit of a spat with the supervisor, left me feeling wretched all last week.

Have always had a good relationship with this woman but since she's got her best mate a supervisor's job too, she's been a nightmare. I don't know why. Its like we're back in school and she can act Big when her mate's around. Or its like at my kid's school, when an angelic little girl can be a bitch when she pairs up with the class show-off. Anyway, complained didn't I. By e-mail, the cowardly way. But it didn't stop me feeling bullied and wretched.

Spent the week pacing around, wondering whether to quit or not. I took my turmoil to church the next day. Did i get peace of mind? did I shite! 3 christenings that day! There wasn't room for inner sanctum! That idle bloody vicar! Go back to doing 'em in the afternoons!!! Not sure that man's ever been ordained!

Not much else to report. Bought some wooden coat hangers from John Lewis. Its my dream to one day have a warderobe and cupboard full of wooden ones - making the nasty metal and plastic hangers a thing of the past. They laughed at me - told me it couldn't be done - but I'll show them! I'll prove them wrong one day! Then who'll be laughing then, eh?

Er - thats enough ambition for now.

At least it gets you out of the house and as for wooden hangers - I replaced all ours and the bloody things take up too much room. I'm thinking of returning to plastic ones.

My lovely FF, how've I missed you.

Yes, there is a downside with these elegant wooden things, yes, those nice metal ones from the dry cleaners are more slender. But it won't stop me, I tell you!!!! I've come too far to back away now.....I;ll show the world.....!! (manical laugh)

Church? Sounds as likely as Ken Dodd doing a gig at the annual Tax Inspectors' Ball.

So glad to have you back. I've missed you...

Good for you in complaining about that horrible woman. It's time she was told this isn't a playground anymore.

As for complaining by email, it certainly isn't being a coward. I think it's sometimes better to complain by letter (or email), as you can get your point across much better than speaking to someone.

I'd love to have a wardrobe full of wooden coat hangers. Now that would be the height of luxury.

Go for your dream. They all laughed at Christopher Columbus when he said the world was round...

You were right to complain, regardless of if it was by email or not. The problem is, people that behave like your supervisor dont have the intellect to see the error of their ways and see it from your point of view. You would have been better off pushing her over.

I'm annoyed by your supervisor, now. I hate that sort of behaviour. How dare she treat one of my favourite bloggers that way! Some people (can be men or women) never leave the school playground behind them. I hope that the situation is dealt with in an adult fashion.

Good luck with the coat hanger thing, then. It's good to have a dream.

Sweeties, thank you so much for your lovely words and support. Both for the coat hangers and the supervisor. Got to face her on Saturday - wah!

Bless you, see you soon xxxxx

I love that your blog breaks coincide perfectly with mine!!

Good luck with those wooden coathangers - I think they are joyous and understand the love. Perhaps I will join in on your mission!!

Glad you are better xx

In fact it's so fab, I've given you a award, which isn't really the sort of thing I do recently. Normally I'm far too lazy to do the links, just grab the wee picture.

Heck, Milla doing links - you are SO honoured. Came over via hers and like what I see, lots. Love a woman with a weird obsession....
